Job summary

The Merchandiser at Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC services customer retail locations in New Bern, NC and surrounding areas, presenting products to attract shopper attention and following planograms. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between stores.

You will work a merchandising route with weekend availability, maintaining stock, and coordinating with store management to optimize displays and promotions.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience in retail preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to satisfy diverse customer needs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and lift 50 lbs.
• Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Present products to attract customer attention at retail locations and follow planograms.
• Service multiple accounts, merchandising approved products and rotating stock.
• Create and distribute point‑of‑sale materials and ensure proper display.
• Maintain backroom organization and communicate with store management.
• Foster relationships with store personnel and coordinate with cross‑functional staff.
