Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a Route Manager to organize daily driver routes, monitor service quality, and ensure DOT compliance across assigned areas in Florida. You will coordinate with Safety and HR for testing and training, handle driver attendance, and investigate incidents to improve operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma
• Post-secondary education in business, computers, or office management
• Experience in the waste industry with DOT regulated positions
• Strong attention to detail
• Prompt, professional and dependable demeanor

Responsibilities

• Manages daily route assignments to ensure all customers are serviced by contractual agreements
• Monitors service, safety and production of all drivers on the assigned route
• Manages driver time and attendance to ensure efficiency
• Responsible for resolving issues with driver errors and missed pickups
• Oversees driver compliance with regulatory agency and company training
• Coordinates with Safety and HR teams for drug and alcohol testing and physical requirements
• Investigates incidents and injuries, suggesting areas for improvement and training
• Maintains relationship with dispatch regarding customer service and foreseen issues
• Works with Operational and HR teams to resolve employee relations concerns
• Manages documentation for Department of Transportation compliance
• Audits daily driver documentation including time, attendance, service tickets, and hours
• Promotes a union-free workplace as appropriate
• Analyzes daily routes and suggests improvements to Operations Management

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages daily route assignments to ensure all customers are properly serviced be contractual agreements

• Manages all appropriate documentation for the Department of Transportation compliance
• Manages and audits all daily driver documentation and data to include time and attendance, service tickets, and driver hours
• Promotes a union free workplace as appropriate
• Analyzes daily route and suggests areas of improvement to the Operation Management team
