Job summary

Gunderson's Companies, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Route Manager to lead our Night Routes team (Sunday–Thursday). You will supervise Non-CDL drivers, conduct safety briefings, and optimize routing and scheduling to ensure on-time deliveries and excellent service.

You will ride along to coach performance, handle escalations, and build durable customer relationships to drive retention and growth. This hands-on leadership role requires clear communication and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Manage and develop a team of Non-CDL drivers: onboarding, coaching, scheduling, and performance.
• Ride along regularly to evaluate performance and remove barriers to success.

• Keep routing and schedules current, and improve route sequencing for efficiency.
• Oversee truck maintenance and delivery/pick-up logistics.
• Build strong customer relationships — drive retention, secure renewals, and spot growth opportunities.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve service issues.

We're hiring a Route Manager to lead our team of Route Representatives on our Night Routes, working Sunday through Thursday. If you like being in the field, solving problems in real time, and building a team that takes pride in doing the job right, this is your role.
