AVI Foodsystems, Inc. in Norcross, GA is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Route Floater to join our dining services team.

This full-time position starts early, Monday through Friday, and involves loading, delivering, and stocking products at client locations while maintaining safe driving and vehicle care. You will interact with customers, ensure product quality, and support multiple routes with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (CDL not required).
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load company vehicle with products for service locations.
• Drive to transport products and food to client locations.
• Deliver, load and unload products as requested.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of perishable items in truck and at accounts.
• Maintain vehicle care and schedule efficiency.

HEADQUARTERS SERVICE CENTER

Our Headquarters Service Center serves as the main support for all AVI operations throughout the United States. Departments include accounting, administration, finance, human resources, marketing, procurement, risk management, training and development, wellness and much more.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Route Floater.

This is a full-time position in Norcross, GA. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a 6 a.m. start time.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
