Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Route Floater to support daily delivery routes in the Cincinnati area. This full-time role involves loading, driving, delivering, stocking, and maintaining equipment and product quality in client locations.

The position requires a valid license (CDL not required), ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a DOT physical. Strong organization, time management, and customer-facing skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products for daily routes.
• Drive to client locations to transport products.
• Fill in for Service or Delivery Routes as needed.
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold foods in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering and inventory control.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Handle money from machines.
• Maintain positive customer interactions with a smile.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Route Floater, Full-Time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Fill in for Service Routes or Delivery Routes as needed
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle
