CertaSite is a fast-growing fire protection and life safety company. We are seeking a route sales & service level I technician who prioritizes the customer and life safety.

You will inspect, test, service, and repair fire extinguishers, exit/emergency lights, and kitchen hood suppression systems, ensuring compliance with standards and codes. This role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, and comfort with heights.

Qualifications

• 90 days of experience training on or working a route in fire protection with a concentration in extinguishers, e-lights, and general life safety products.
• Ability to calculate basic math including fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Knowledge of basic computer functions and software such as Windows, Word, iOS, Android and Outlook.
• Must currently have a valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, testing, service, and repairs as required for fire extinguishers, exit/emergency lights, and general life safety products.
• Learn pre-engineered suppression systems and related maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and perform service and repair of life safety systems.
• Record and document inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations electronically or manually.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and coordinate with appropriate personnel for follow-up.
