Job summary

River Bend Food Bank in Davenport, IA is hiring a Driver & Warehouse Associate to operate a commercial vehicle, pick up and deliver product within RBFB's service area, and perform warehouse duties such as loading, unloading, packing, labeling, and paperwork.

Candidates must have a valid CDL Class A or B, forklift/warehousing experience preferred, ability to obtain ServSafe, strong teamwork and customer service, and willingness to work evenings or Saturdays while complying with safety and

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; positive work history; CDL experience preferred in food distribution.
Possession of a valid Class A or B commercial driver’s license; insurability for operating organization vehicle.
Ability to obtain ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

Safely operates a commercial vehicle between the RBFB warehouse and partner agency locations.
Loads and unloads products using a forklift or pallet jack; completes related paperwork.
Inspects donated products for safety and sanitation prior to transport.
Assists with order fulfillment including picking, packing, labeling, and processing paperwork.
Delivers outstanding customer service to donors and partner agencies.
