Job summary

River Bend Food Bank in Davenport, IA seeks a Driver & Warehouse Associate to operate commercial vehicles for pickups and deliveries within the service area and perform essential warehouse tasks. The role supports Donors and partner agencies with high-quality service and accurate paperwork.

The position requires a valid CDL (Class A or B), forklift/warehouse experience, and a readiness to maintain food-safety standards while cooperating with team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class A or B CDL and insurability required.
• Forklift and warehousing experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a commercial vehicle between RBFB warehouse and partner sites.
• Loads/unloads products using forklift or pallet jack.
• Inspects donated products for safety and sanitation prior to transport.
• Assists with order fulfillment including picking, packing, labeling, and related paperwork.
• Provides excellent donor and partner agency service and information.
