Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Brewster is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver. This role trains to drive a Class B box truck to provide on-site service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services along a defined route.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physical functions as required.
• Compliance with respirator facial hair standards per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134.

Responsibilities

• Visit 10–12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
• Serve automotive repair fleets and manufacturing customers.
• Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick-ups on time.
• Follow local, state/provincial and federal regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles per US DOT requirements.
