Job summary

WM (Waste Management) in Chattanooga is seeking a Medical Waste Route Driver to service assigned accounts with professional care, ensuring that customers' needs are met on a continual basis for various waste pickup and supply delivery.

The role involves transporting waste from WMHS or customer locations to transfer or processing sites, with on-board cameras, ELD, and GPS support for safety and accountability.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of experience in driving box trucks and route management.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a medical card.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned routes, ensuring waste is picked up safely and on time.
• Load/unload trucks and secure waste per regulations.
• Review daily paperwork and plan daily schedule with supervisor.
• Follow routing software and DOT logging requirements.
• Communicate route changes to supervisor for resolution.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and coordinate maintenance.
