Job summary

Spec's Family Partners is seeking a dedicated route driver to safely deliver goods to designated locations and maintain accurate delivery records. You will operate a box truck or tractor-trailer, load and unload cargo, and follow routes to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires a valid Class C license (Texas) and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• We would love you to have at least 1-2 years of driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED, but sometimes experience is the best education.
• Able to read, comprehend and write simple instructions or memos; communicate with coworkers and guests.
• Bilingual is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a box truck or tractor-trailer to deliver goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documents.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
