Job summary

Specs Family Partners is seeking a delivery driver to safely operate a box truck, load and unload shipments, and maintain accurate delivery records. You will follow routes, perform vehicle inspections, and uphold safety standards while delivering to stores and customers.

Applicants should have 1–2 years of driving experience, a valid Texas license, and strong time management with a focus on customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of driving experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; education may substitute with proven experience.
• Valid Texas driver’s license; CDL not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a box truck or tractor-trailer to deliver goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documents.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
• Communicate with dispatch or supervisor regarding any issues or delays during the delivery process.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers at delivery locations.
