Job summary

Baton Rouge Cargo Svc Inc is seeking a Class D Route Driver to operate company vehicles on designated routes, delivering products safely and on schedule while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.

You will load and unload shipments, provide outstanding customer service, and maintain accurate delivery and mileage records. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of Class D driving experience are required, along with a valid license, DOT medical card, and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Valid Class D license and DOT medical card required.
• Clean driving record (MVR) required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of delivery driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles along assigned routes to designated locations.
• Ensure products are safely and securely loaded and unloaded.
• Provide exceptional customer service during product deliveries.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping for deliveries and mileage.
