Core Linen Services is seeking a dedicated Route Delivery Driver to support hospital and hospitality linen delivery across routes. You will load, deliver, pick up, and transport linen carts while maintaining accurate records and providing professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license appropriate for vehicle operation; Class A CDL if applicable to the assigned route/vehicle.
• Clean driving record meeting company standards.
• Previous experience in commercial driving, route delivery, distribution, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles and related equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete delivery documentation and follow established routes and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle along a predetermined route, ensuring timely and efficient delivery and pickup of linen carts to and from customer locations.
• Load and unload clean and soiled linen carts, ensuring proper identification, accountability and safety.
• Organize linen carts based on customer requirements and established par levels.
• Maintain comprehensive delivery, pickup, and route documentation.
• Establish and maintain positive, service-focused relationships with customers during each delivery.
• Communicate any customer requests, service concerns or route issues to the District Route Manager.
• Keep the vehicle and equipment clean and in good working order.
• Perform required vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.

The Route Delivery Driver is responsible for operating company vehicles along established routes. This role involves loading, delivering, picking up, and transporting linen carts to and from customer locations while maintaining precise records and outstanding customer service. As a key representative of Core Linen Services, you will communicate directly with customers during deliveries and work closely with the District Route Manager to address service needs or concerns.

Route Delivery Driver - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle along a predetermined route, ensuring timely and efficient delivery and pickup of linen carts to and from customer locations.
• Load and unload clean and soiled linen carts, making certain that all items are properly identified, accounted for and handled according to safety regulations.
• Accurately build and organize linen carts based on customer requirements and established par levels.
• Maintain comprehensive delivery, pickup, and route documentation.
• Establish and maintain positive, service-focused relationships with customers during each delivery.
• Communicate any customer requests, service concerns, shortages, or route issues promptly to the District Route Manager.
• Keep the company vehicle and related equipment clean and in good working order.
• Conduct required vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Comply with all company safety policies, Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, traffic laws and other applicable regulations.
• Assist with route preparation, loading, unloading and other operational tasks as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and ensure service continuity.
