In the role of Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting linen products between company facilities and client sites, ensuring that all deliveries meet strict accuracy and timeliness requirements. You will be expected to maintain an impeccable driving record, adhere to company policies, and follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations at all times. The position requires a flexible schedule, including possible nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet the dynamic needs of our clients. As a Delivery Driver, you will load and unload linen carts, maintain proper documentation, and ensure that company vehicles are kept clean and organized. Adhering to safety procedures and reporting any issues promptly is essential. Your role will also involve interacting with clients in a professional manner, helping to maintain the company’s reputation for outstanding customer service. The ability to lift heavy items and operate wheeled carts is required, as is the ability to complete required paperwork and logs accurately on a daily basis.

Delivery Driver - Summary

• Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of linen products to clients in the healthcare and hospitality industries

Duties & Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook
• Wear uniform and maintain a neat, professional appearance daily
• Follow attendance policies and report to work as scheduled
• Ensure company vehicles and equipment are clean, organized, and maintained
• Report any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel promptly
• Follow all universal precautions and safety procedures, especially when handling soiled materials
• Maintain proper DOT documentation and certifications as required
• Accurately complete all required paperwork and logs each day
• Load and unload linen carts at company and customer facilities, tagging each accordingly
• Weigh and process soiled linens under the correct customer account and deliver to designated areas
• Disinfect vehicles after each soil pick-up to maintain cleanliness and safetyTurn in daily Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Report any customer service issues to supervisors promptly
• Perform other duties as assigned to support company operations
