Job summary

WM (Waste Management) is seeking a Shred-it Route Driver to provide reliable document destruction services on assigned routes. You will load/unload, secure cargo, and ensure proper handling of confidential materials in line with company policy and regulations.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip checks, safe operation of box trucks, maintaining DOT logs when required, and servicing accounts using a handheld device for accurate barcode and container updates.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience, preferably in driving Box Trucks and route management.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience with safety protocols and log maintenance (DOT logs when applicable).

Responsibilities

• Performs onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information.
• Performs pre/post-trip checks and reports maintenance issues.
• Operates company equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complies with local, provincial and federal regulations; maintains DOT logs if applicable.
• Maintains security when handling documents and secures containers.
• Serves accounts using a handheld device; ensures barcode/location accuracy.
• Manages routes to service clients promptly and accurately.
• Handles customer inquiries and escalations promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
