Waste Management’s Shred-it Route Driver role provides industry-leading service to clients by transporting confidential documents and ensuring secure destruction in compliance with DOT and company policies.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, 3 years of route driving experience, and a willingness to work Monday–Friday with a 6:30am start. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in driving box trucks or route management.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Performs onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information.
• Performs pre/post-trip checks, and driver check-in on assigned truck, prior to leaving or closing for the day.
• Operates company equipment in a safe and efficient manner to minimize injury and equipment damage.
• Maintains DOT logs and hours of service as required.
• Maintains security when handling confidential materials and ensures proper locking of containers.
• Manages routes to ensure timely and accurate service for customers.
• Responds promptly to customer inquiries and resolves issues.
