Job summary

KEG 1 River City is seeking a Route Accounting Clerk to perform daily reconciliation of delivery routes, verify cash and checks, and ensure deposits balance. You will work with drivers to support accurate reconciliations and secure handling of payments.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork, with responsibilities including processing route data, preparing daily reports for accounting, and maintaining clear communication with the team.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Accounts Receivable or equivalent experience.
• 1 to 2 years work experience in an accounting environment.
• Outstanding computer skills with data entry (10-key by touch and alpha-numeric).
• Ability to learn and use internal applications and computer programs.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile delivery routes by recounting cash, coin, and checks and confirming each driver’s total.
• Verify register reports, driver assignments, route balances, and inventory variances.
• Process daily sales reports through the route accounting system.
• Complete and verify daily bank deposits and encode checks.
• Distribute reports and messages to drivers as requested.
