Row 34 Portsmouth is seeking a Rounds Cook to join the team. This role covers all kitchen stations—from fry to grill, sauté, raw bar prep, and beyond. The Rounds Cook ensures consistency and excellence across the line while supporting the entire kitchen crew.

Pay is $30/hr based on experience, with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, staff meals, and growth opportunities. You will open, close, manage inventory, and help coach and develop junior staff as you advance.

Qualificações

• Professional kitchen experience and solid culinary fundamentals.
• Ability to execute menu items consistently and to spec.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfort working across multiple kitchen stations.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation.

Responsabilidades

• Cook every dish to Row 34 recipes, specs, and plating standards.
• Back up cooks during service to maintain timing, quality, and consistency.
• Move between stations as needed during prep or service.
• Know the menu inside and out: recipes, product specs, and presentation.
• Help run the pass and expedite with clear communication between kitchen and dining room.
• Open and close the kitchen using established procedures.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and stock readiness throughout shift.
• Learn inventory, ordering, receiving, and partial opening/closing duties.
• Lead by example and develop leadership and operational skills for the future.
