Job summary

Key Energy Services, LLC. is seeking a crew member for a well service rig responsible for performing services on oil and gas wells. Duties include rigging up and rigging down, pulling and laying down rods, tubing and casing, and following trainee matrix assignments during training.

This position has a dotted line reporting line to the Rig Supervisor or equivalent, works on an on-site basis, and requires adherence to safety protocols and use of required safety gear.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass post-offer drug and alcohol tests.
• Ability to work at heights up to 110 ft.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lifts, operates, rigs up/down guy wires, hydraulic jacks, pads/boards and safety gear including SCBA and H2S monitors.
• Lifts, removes, installs and operates well head pump and jacks as directed by the rig operator.
• Works on elevated platform handling rods, tubing and other well servicing equipment.
• Lifts and installs matting boards, tubing, rods and casing equipment.
• Operates tongs, elevators and other rig tools.
• Receives on-the-job training and aims to complete training.
• Follows company policies and reports safety hazards or maintenance issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Wears proper safety equipment on the job.
