Job summary

Key Energy Services, LLC. is seeking a crew member for a well service rig in Texas. The role involves performing services on oil and gas wells, including elevated tasks, rigging up/down, and handling tubing and rods under supervision of the Rig Supervisor.

The position requires 1–2 years of Derrickhand experience, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. CDL B license is required to drive the rig, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is preferred.
• 1–2 years of Workover - Derrickhand experience required.
• Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written.
• Ability to interact with others in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Basic problem solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills, to provide world class value to customers.
• CDL B license is required to drive rig. Must meet all qualifications defined in the Motor Vehicle Policy if required to drive.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the operator in rigging up and down, lining up the well.
• Set hydraulic jacks, handles pads/boards and attach guy wires to the anchor.
• Responsible for all elevated work during rig up/down (e.g., removing horse head from pumping unit).
• Handle rod basket and tubing board duties; transfer rods and tubing from racks to the elevator.
• Drive the crew truck as needed.
• Operate tubing elevators for standing tubing in derrick.
• Assist in picking up or laying down tubing and walking the rods.
• Report safety hazards, accidents or maintenance issues to the rig supervisor.
• Ensure work complies with company policies and safety regulations.
• May be required to work floors or operate the rig when needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
