Wells Concrete Products, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move materials around the facility and yard. You will perform routine equipment inspections, support production in the steel shop, and help with loading, unloading, and palletizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate emphasizes safety, reliability, and attention to detail, and can work well both independently and as part of a team on varied shop and production duties.

• Experience operating a forklift in a work environment.

Aufgaben

• Operate the forklift in a safe and appropriate manner on rough terrain.
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering the lifting device.
• Position forks, lifting platforms, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, boxes, or other materials.
• Move levers, shift gears, depress the pedal, and maneuver the steering wheel to operate the equipment.
• Perform safety inspections on forklifts.
• Assist in the steel shop with other duties such as palletizing materials, loading and unloading trucks, painting, organizing materials, and other assignments as requested or required by supervisor.
