Job summary

Wells Concrete Products, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to move, load, and unload materials across the facility and yard. You will perform routine inspections, support production in the steel shop, and maintain a safe, efficient work environment in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires safety awareness and reliability, with opportunities to contribute to various shop and production tasks. Hybrid or on-site flexibility and a strong team mindset are valued as workloads vary by shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or not strictly required.
• Experience operating a forklift in a construction setting preferred.
• Forklift certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the forklift in a safe and appropriate manner on rough terrain.
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering the lifting device.
• Position forks, lifting platforms, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, boxes, or other materials.
• Move levers, shift gears, depress the pedal, and maneuver the steering wheel to operate the equipment.
• Perform safety inspections on forklifts.
• Assist in the steel shop with other duties such as palletizing materials, loading and unloading trucks, painting, organizing materials, and other assignments as requested or required by supervisor.
