Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Heavy Equipment Operator experience preferred for rough terrain forklifts.
• Experience in lumber yard or mill environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Dependable team player with proactive work ethic.
• Comfortable working outside in any climate year-round.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift in accordance with company policy and OSHA regulations
• Load, Unload, move and stack materials and products as directed
• Verify load contents against documents such as purchase orders, bills of lading, or pick tickets to ensure accuracy
• Stage materials in designated areas to support efficient workflow and minimize disruption to operations
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories as required
• Identify and report damaged, mislabeled, or incorrectly stored product to a supervisor.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisor
