Job summary

Tyonek Services Group, Inc seeks a Rotor Wing Second in Command (SIC) pilot to support an in-house flight department in Alaska. The role covers a mixed fleet of fixed-wing and rotor helicopters under Part 135 and Part 91 for executive transport, crew changes, surveillance, and offshore logistics.

The SIC reports to the PIC, maintains instrument and night currency, and may serve as PIC when required. Must travel internationally and comply with SOPs and safety systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 500 flight hours with 100 cross-country and 25 night hours.
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate and FAA medical certificate required.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Report to the PIC; execute duties as delegated by the PIC during flight operations.
• Maintain currency and stay current on instrument and night landing requirements.
• Assist in loading/unloading and weight & balance tasks as needed.
• Perform duties as SIC per SOPs and assist in emergency/operational scenarios.
• Be prepared for international travel as part of duties.
• Operate aircraft under PIC instructions and assume PIC in the PIC’s incapacitation.
