Job summary

Tyonek Services Group, Inc. seeks a Fixed Wing Pilot in Command (PIC) to support an in-house flight department. The role covers executive transport, crew changes, surveillance, and offshore logistics with a mixed fixed-wing and rotor fleet under 14 CFR Part 135 and Part 91.

The position is based in Alaska. As PIC you’ll ensure safe flight operations, maintain aircraft airworthiness, and coordinate with maintenance and logistics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Qualified in accordance with 135.243.
• 3,000 hours flight time with 1,000 hours turbine PIC.
• FAA ATP certificate and a valid FAA first class medical.
• Garmin 1000 experience preferred; twin otter experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pilot-in-Command responsible for safe conduct of flights.
• Operate in accordance with 14 CFR Part 135/91 and company SOPs.
• Maintain currency, log all flight and duty times, and ensure aircraft airworthiness.
• Coordinate with maintenance, logistics, and passenger comfort during missions.
• Brief passengers on flight status and ensure safety and security of crew and cargo.
