Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation is hiring a highly qualified HAA Pilot for a full-time position in Texas. You will join a team delivering medical air transportation, ensuring aircraft readiness and strict adherence to regulatory procedures.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• Helicopter instrument rating preferred.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate required.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours required.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours required.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours required.
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours required.
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided).

Responsibilities

• Transport patients/customers safely with a team of medical experts.
• Ensure aircraft readiness per manuals, FARs, and Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info following Med-Trans change board protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• Salary Range: $109,173 - $120,091 including 23% Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign on Bonus
• Retention Bonus Plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med‑Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med‑Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med‑Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements
