Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation seeks a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. Use a team-based approach to safely transport customers and ensure aircraft readiness.

This position offers opportunities across multiple locations with a 7/7 schedule in many sites. Key requirements include a current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, and substantial flight hours, including helicopter PIC and turbine experience.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate required.
• Helicopter instrument rating preferred.
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate current.
• Minimum flight time: 2,000 total hours with 1,500 helicopter hours.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours and 1,000 turbine helicopter hours.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a team of medical experts to locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for dispatch per manuals, FAR and Med-Trans rules, and keep aircraft clean.
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information following change board protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

We’re hiring a

Helicopter Pilot

to provide medical air transportation services to Med-Trans customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services!This posting is for multiple Visual Flight Rules (VFR) positions, we have many other opportunities available! Starting Salary Range: $88,759 - $97,635

Up to 27% geographic modifier, depending on location

15K Sign on Bonus

40K Retention Bonus after 3 years

On Duty Housing at most locations

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate MTC and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements (VFR position)

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours

• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
