Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation is seeking Helicopter Pilots to provide medical air transport services across VFR positions. We offer mobility across locations, with a starting salary range and geographic modifiers based on location. This posting notes a non-float pilot role and includes attractive bonuses.

Starting Salary Range: $87,019 - $95,720. Up to 27% geographic modifier, depending on location. 15K Sign-on Bonus and 40K Retention Bonus after 3 years.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a medical team to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and comply with FAR and Med-Trans requirements.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and records accurately.
• Communicate and coordinate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift-change information per protocol for the change board.

Starting Salary Range: $87,019 - $95,720

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities


• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties


• Maintain accurate MTC and regulatory documentation and record keeping


• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners


• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details


• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements (VFR position)

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate


• Helicopter instrument rating


• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate


• 2,000 Total Flight Hours


• 1,500 Helicopter Hours


• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
