Job summary

Med-Trans, a part of Global Medical Response, is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to ensure the safety and maintenance of our fleet, with focus on the Bell 407 airframe. This full-time role requires strict adherence to FAA regulations and rapid, high-quality patient transport support.

The candidate must have 3+ years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience, an A&P license, and be able to lift 50 lbs and push/pull 100+ lbs.

Qualifications

Bell 407 maintenance experience is required.
Three years of turbine helicopter maintenance with at least six months in the last 24 months.
Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
Valid State driver’s license.
High School diploma or GED.
Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
Must live within an hour of base.
Must pass FAA drug and alcohol testing.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and push/pull 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests and document expenditures.
Document service paperwork and FAA information, and adhere to policies and security standards.
Sustain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
Use communication methods to coordinate between departments, vendors and team members.
Collaborate with allied health, public safety personnel and operations team.
