Job summary

Global Medical Response in Texas seeks a Float Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to oversee maintenance and safety of the fleet, focusing on the Bell 407 airframe. The role supports timely, high‑quality patient transport services within Med-Trans and requires 3+ years turbine helicopter maintenance and an A&P license.

Responsibilities include mechanical inspections, inventory control, documentation of FAA information, and collaboration with flight crews and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bell 407 maintenance experience required.
• Three years turbine helicopter maintenance, last 24 months minimum.
• Valid A&P license required.
• Valid state driver's license and high school diploma or GED.
• FAA regulatory knowledge and maintenance records familiarity.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and on‑call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs and status updates to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks, stock levels and part expenditures; update tracking logs.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per policies and security standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for aircraft maintenance and flight crews.
• Communicate across departments, vendors and team members for coordination.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
