Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Natchez, MS is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) for rotor-wing aircraft. The role covers maintenance, inspections, and safety of the fleet, ensuring timely, high-quality patient transport and service.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid A&P license, at least two years of turbine helicopter experience, and FAA knowledge. The position is full-time with flexible scheduling and on-call rotations, offering a starting salary of $65,239 to $94,567 plus an IA

Qualifications

• Two years turbine powered helicopter experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid State issued Driver’s License.
• FAA drug and alcohol testing program compliance.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 100+ lbs.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including overtime and on-call rotations.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations.
• EMS systems and aircraft maintenance records experience.

Responsibilities

• perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
• Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
• Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.
