Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Scottsboro, AL is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the maintenance and safety of our fleet. This role supports airframe maintenance and ensures timely, high-quality patient transport services.

Responsibilities include mechanical inspections, repairs, and FAA paperwork while maintaining a safe work environment. Required: two years turbine helicopter experience and an A&P certificate, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two years turbine powered helicopter experience.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid State issued Driver’s License.
• FAA knowledge of regulations and EMS/maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks, update equipment tracking log, and document part expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information, adhere to policies and security standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors and team members to facilitate efforts.
