Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Keokuk, IA seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to maintain our turbine-powered helicopter fleet and ensure safe, timely patient transport. The role requires an A&P license, FAA knowledge, and a high school diploma or GED, with flexibility for on-call shifts.

The AMT will handle inspections, parts stocking, and documentation, coordinating with the Lead Technician and operations teams to keep aircraft ready for service.

Qualifications

• Two years turbine powered helicopter experience required.
• FAA knowledge required; FAA procedures familiarity.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• A&P license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs and provide status updates to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks and equipment tracking; document expenditures.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per procedures; follow security standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment for aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Communicate effectively with departments, vendors and team members.
• Collaborate with AMTs and operations team and other allied personnel.
