Job summary

Global Medical Response via Air Evac Lifeteam seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) in Vinemont, AL to maintain airframes and ensure safety of our fleet. The role supports timely patient transport and high-quality service.

Requirements include two years turbine helicopter experience, a valid A&P license, a high school diploma or GED, and FAA knowledge. Flexibility for overtime and on-call rotations is needed, with physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Two years turbine powered helicopter experience required.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid State issued Driver's License.
• Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
• EMS systems and aircraft maintenance records experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, repairs and provide regular statuses to Lead Technician.
• Manage inventory checks, update equipment tracking logs and process replacement requests.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information in accordance with procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
• Communicate across departments, vendors and team members to coordinate efforts.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety personnel and operations staff.
