Rotomold Machine Operator 1 - Morning Shift

Day shift Full‑time Machine Operator position at our Rotomold facility in New Berlin, PA.
Salary: $20.00 per hour.
Work for 35 hours and get paid for 40!
Shift Hours: 5am – 12pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Determines sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, product reports, and route codes.
- Prepares machine for production by positioning and securing molds, stops, and guides.
- Gathers parts by pulling and verifying materials listed on product report.
- Regulates machines by setting and adjusting controls.
- Maintains specifications by observing operations, detecting malfunctions, inspecting parts, and adjusting controls.
- Ensures operation of equipment by working with the Maintenance Department on a comprehensive maintenance program.
- Offloads molded parts from machine by placing items in the appropriate cooling location, using specified jigs and fixtures as needed.
- Maintains a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains molding department appearance by transporting materials to disposal area and recycling areas.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintains compliance to environmental standards by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Performs any additional duties as requested.

- High‑school graduate or equivalent training.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of safety regulations.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. on average during a normal working day.
- Ability to operate computers.
- Applying common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Reading and interpreting basic documents, safety rules, and other correspondence.
- Ability to distinguish colors.
Work Environment
- Production area with exposure to noise and heat.
- Steel‑toed shoes required at all times.
- Must wear required PPE while on the production floor.
- Must adjust PPE to meet requirements; some specific areas may require additional items such as bump caps, hard hats, shin guards, gloves, etc.
Physical Demands
- Carrying, pushing, or pulling parts to area.
- Lifting and bending frequently.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Majority of the time standing and moving about the department.
