Job summary

Landscape Structures Inc. is seeking a Rotomold Finisher on the 3rd shift in Delano, MN. The role ensures quality plastic rotational molded parts by finishing, trimming excess material, and smoothing surfaces to eliminate rough edges on playground equipment.

Hours are Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM. The posted pay range is $18.50–$20.00 per hour, with a $4.00 per hour shift differential. Eligible full-time employees receive profit-sharing, a monthly bonus, and a benefits package

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Comfortable standing throughout the shift.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Familiar with handheld or small power tools.

Responsibilities

• Finish plastic parts using hand tools to smooth edges.
• Identify quality problems and escalate as needed.
• Ensure accuracy of parts and labeling for inventory control.

POSITION SUMMARY

The essence of this role is to ensure quality plastic rotational molded parts through finishing techniques, such as trimming excess plastic material. In addition to creating a smooth surface on all plastic parts to prevent rough edges on play equipment.

Hours: S-Th, 10:00 P.M.-6:30 A.M.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Finish plastic parts using a variety of hand tools to finish edges, drill holes, etc.
• Identify quality problems and can escape appropriately.
• Ensure accuracy of needed parts and inventory by ensuring proper inspecting and labeling techniques.

ATTRIBUTES

• Ability to follow standardized work steps to ensure quality remains consistent.
• Works well with others and in a team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Comfortable standing throughout the shift and bending/stooping while working on parts
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Comfortable utilizing handheld, or small power tools.

The target hourly range is $18.50 - $20.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $4.00 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
