Job summary

Graybar offers a Trainee program that prepares you for a functional or managerial role through rotational assignments across the company. You will complete rotations, perform duties in assigned specialty areas, and gain exposure to multiple functions and business units.

You will participate in training, develop an understanding of continuous improvement, and learn to work with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• A 4-year degree may be preferred depending on assigned specialty area.
• Experience in the wholesale distribution industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with all levels and teams.
• Analytical, conceptual, and problem solving skills.
• Excellent planning, organization and time management.
• Leadership with mentoring/supervisory abilities.
• Willingness to relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete rotational assignments in assigned specialty area.
• Perform assigned job duties in assigned specialty area.
• Gain knowledge of the business and continuous improvement processes.
• Participate in training and development activities.
