Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemical/biochemical/biomedical fields.
• Strong fundamental scientific and engineering skills for data evaluation.
• Laboratory skills for bioprocess development and analytical methods.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of experts to learn technology and techniques.
• Generate experimental results, analyze data, and document in formal reports.
• Perform process scale-up and support tech transfer at Moderna and external sites.
• Plan, design, execute, and analyze experiments and risk assessments.
• Optimize formulation and processing for stability of mRNA products.
• Review literature and establish collaborations with internal groups.
• Create scaled-down models and high-throughput setups for unit ops.
• Characterize mRNA and lipid nanoparticles with analytics.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings in cross-functional meetings.
• Additional duties as assigned.
