Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC is seeking a Security Officer for a refinery site in Nikiski, Alaska. You will monitor areas, de-escalate incidents and respond to emergencies to protect people and property.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 2 years security experience, a valid TWIC card, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts. You will work as part of a team with safety as a core value.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least two years of security, law enforcement or military experience preferred.
• Must have or receive a valid TWIC card prior to employment.
• Must be 21 years of age per contract requirements.
• Must be able to work 12 hours per shift.
• Must meet safety guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Personally monitors assigned areas; roving inside facilities or in a vehicle.
• De-escalate situations to ensure safety of employees, customers, and clients.
• Inspect interior/exterior refinery and surrounding areas for security.
• Report data such as property damage or unusual occurrences per policy.
• Notify on-site personnel of visitors; record ID badges when needed.
• Assist in emergencies to preserve life and property (fire safety, active shooter protocol).
• May monitor safety/life support computer programs.
• Notify supervisor if safety standards not met.
• Other duties as assigned; no supervisory responsibilities.
