Job summary

Chestnut Labs invites you to join the Associate Production Manager program in Joplin, MO. Through rotational assignments, you will gain leadership experiences across high-volume filling and packaging operations, driving safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.

You will partner with production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and supply chain teams to implement operational excellence, lead projects, and prepare for a future Production Manager role within 12–24 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Internship, co-op, military leadership, or supervisory experience.
• Experience in food, dairy, or beverage manufacturing environments.
• Certification and/or license may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations development across production, maintenance, quality, and processing.
• Advance plant operations knowledge in safety, labor management, and leadership.
• Participate in leadership development programs and training.
• Shadow Production Managers to gain hands-on leadership experience.
• Lead projects from concept through implementation with cross-functional teams.
• Support startup, changeovers, and continuous improvement activities.
