Job summary

The NHS vacancy at Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust invites an experienced occupational therapist/physiotherapist to take on a rotating post on an eight-month secondment based in the acute setting at The Royal Oldham Hospital.

You will rotate across general medicine, respiratory medicine, the acute medical unit, colorectal and vascular surgery, delivering assessments, rehabilitation and discharge planning within an integrated therapy team.

Qualifications

• Experienced band 5, or existing band 6, Occupational therapist/Physiotherapist.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across general medicine, respiratory medicine, the acute medical unit, colorectal and vascular surgery.
• Provide assessments, rehabilitation and discharge planning within an integrated therapy team.
• Supervise junior staff and students; contribute to service development and CPD.
• Work seven days a week with some weekend responsibilities as part of the role.
