Job summary

NHS Scotland invites applications for an Occupational Therapist - Rotational role, across East and South Ayrshire. You will work in agreed areas to deliver quality services within a pan-Ayrshire rotation.

Qualifications

• Essential: Diploma/BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy or within 6 months completion of a BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy.
• Varied clinical experience across relevant specialties.
• Current HCPC registration (existing or pending within 6 months).
• Sound clinical knowledge and skills.
• Excellent communication with multi-agencies.
• Leadership and supervision development.
• Commitment to team & personal development with self-directed learning.
• MAST and role-specific MAST training.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality occupational therapy services in an agreed area.
• Participate in pan-Ayrshire rotation across clinical settings for one year.
• Manage caseload using evidence-based assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Empower service users to remain independent and active.
• Promote and develop networks with health, local authorities and partner agencies.
• Join teams delivering compassionate, person-centred, strengths-based care.
• Evidence continuous professional development and awareness of current agendas.
