Job summary

Pelican Products, Inc. in South Deerfield, MA is seeking a Machine Operator I for the 1st shift (6:00am–2:15pm).

You will set up and operate rotational molding machines to produce high‑quality plastic containers, following procedures and blueprints while maintaining safety and efficiency. Ideal candidates will have experience operating machinery, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing machinery and production equipment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate rotational molding machines with minimal supervision.
• Follow written and verbal work instructions and manufacturing procedures.
• Set up and service molds while monitoring machine controls and product quality.
• Perform secondary operations on molded products as needed.
• Use powered and manual hand tools, hoists, gantries, and production equipment.
• Read basic blueprints and manufacturing work orders.
• Maintain quality standards and production records.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with training and sharing technical knowledge with team members.
• Work Shift: 6:00am - 2:15pm Monday - Friday.
