Job summary

Tractor Supply Company in Brentwood, TN is launching the 2027 Information Technology Development Program (ITDP), a 12-month rotational program designed for early career professionals to learn the foundations of technology within a leading rural retailer.

Trainees will rotate through Information Security, Digital, AI and Data Analytics, and IT Operations, gaining hands-on experience, mentorship, and meaningful project work while building cross-functional relationships for future opportunities

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required or higher in a tech field; internship or co-op preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

Complete structured rotations across IT functions to gain broad exposure to the company’s technology environment and operations.
Shadow IT professionals to understand processes, systems, development practices, workflows, and how technology supports business objectives.
Contribute to business and technology initiatives through guided, hands-on assignments and rotations.
Build foundational knowledge across areas like development, cybersecurity, data analytics, infrastructure, networks, cloud technologies, and IT operations.
Create, maintain, and execute an Individual Development Plan with your mentor.
