Job summary

Chugach Alaska Services, LLC seeks a PV Technician to support the Power Vapor Facility at the Valdez Marine Terminal. This full-time position operates in a rotational field schedule (1x1 / 2x2) with travel as required.

The role focuses on safe operation of oil moving and utility systems, heavy equipment use, and adherence to Alyeska permitting processes. Strong basics in maintenance and teamwork are essential to succeed in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of related industrial operations and maintenance experience.
• HAZWOPER 3 certification is required.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain TWIC.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Must pass background check, fit for duty, and DOT drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain oil moving and utility systems safely and effectively.
• Operate heavy equipment and perform snow removal as needed.
• Use Alyeska permitting systems to safely control work processes.
• Monitor and assist in maintenance work orders; perform light maintenance.
• Work autonomously and in a team with other departments.
• Follow policies and code of conduct; maintain ethical standards.
