Job summary

Ultipro in Midland, TX is seeking an Engine Field Technician II for a rotational schedule (14 days on, 7 days off) with travel and lodging to service CAT gas and diesel engines. You will diagnose and repair engine systems, document work orders, and ensure safe, high-quality results for customers.

Requirements include CAT knowledge, tool and diagnostic software proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• CAT product knowledge across gas, diesel, electrical, electronic and mechanical components.
• Proficient with basic hand tools, air tools and precision measuring devices.
• Laptop and diagnostic software usage required for field diagnostics.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs within flat rate times and ensure quality work.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair engines and components.
• Test repairs and verify proper operation after service.
• Prepare accurate service reports and timecards daily.
• Follow safety policies and regulatory guidelines.
