Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in Chelsea is seeking a Cancer and Clinical Services Pharmacist to join our Clinical Pharmacy team. This rotational role offers exposure to oncology, haematology, paediatric oncology and private care, with responsibilities across inpatient, day unit and outpatient settings.

You will support safe, timely delivery of SACT, review prescriptions, and work with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to the Clinical Services Pharmacy Team across the three hospital sites on a day-to-day basis by actively participating in the clinical pharmacy service.
• Provide expert advice and support to the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and timely delivery of Systemic Anticancer Therapy (SACT) and other medications.
• Provide a clinical pharmacy service to patients by accurately clinically screening/reviewing prescriptions, ensuring the safe, effective, legal, and appropriate use of SACT and non-SACT medicines within an allocated clinical unit
• To support the development of high-quality clinical pharmacy services, improvement of patient outcomes and experience within the inpatient and outpatient settings across the Trust.
