Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking candidates for its 16-month Business & Operations Development Program Specialist in Chicago, IL. You will participate in three 5-month rotations, gaining exposure to a variety of roles, new skills, and senior leadership guidance.

The program develops foundational knowledge across banking products, pricing, and risk, with opportunities to influence strategic projects and vendor programs. This is a fast-track path to future leadership.

Qualifications

Typically 1–2 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of retail and business banking environment.
Desirable: knowledge of software and systems architecture; SQL, Python, Power BI.

Responsibilities

Develops and executes business initiatives to drive organizational objectives and enhance customer/employee experience.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to analyze challenges, develop recommendations, and contribute to strategic projects.
Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
Builds relationships with internal/external stakeholders and aligns projects with business strategy.
Supports market research, forecasting, pricing, and competitive analysis.
