Job summary

UPS is seeking candidates for its Audit Leadership Accelerator Program to develop next-gen leaders in internal audit across finance, operations, technology, and healthcare. The two-year rotations build business acumen, data analytics skills, and leadership capabilities in a global context.

Participants gain coaching and hands-on experience with cross-functional teams, with a pathway to leadership within UPS's Internal Audit organization in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or internationally comparable credential.
• 3–7 years of relevant Internal Audit, External Audit, Accounting, Consulting, or Risk Management experience.
• CPA, CIA, CISA or similar certification is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute risk-based audit projects across financial, operational and technology domains.
• Perform procedures through all phases of internal audits: planning, evaluation and reporting.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
• Identify control gaps, risks, and remediation opportunities.
• Prepare clear audit documentation and findings.
• Communicate observations and recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather information and validate issues.
• Track and validate management action plans and remediation activities.
• Leverage data analytics and emerging technologies to improve audit quality and efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Internal Audit and mentor junior staff.
